Process for SRTIP Free Zone Company Setup

Follow these steps to establish your business in SRTIP Free Zone successfully:

1. Determine the Legal Structure

Choose the most suitable legal structure based on the number of shareholders and liability type, such as a Branch, Free Zone Establishment (FZE), or Free Zone Limited Liability Company (FZ LLC).

2. Select Your Business Activity

Identify the business activity you wish to undertake from the categories approved within the SRTIP Free Zone.

3. Pick an Office Space Solution

Choose a workspace that meets your business needs from the office solutions offered by SRTIP (e.g., flexi-desk, private office).

4. Secure Necessary Approvals

If required for your selected business activity, obtain approvals from relevant authorities. In some cases, approvals may be completed after license issuance.

5. Submit Your Business License Application

Prepare and submit the necessary documents to apply for the appropriate business license.

6. Receive Your License

Once approved, your business license will be issued. A virtual lease agreement is provided for flexi-desk setups, while a lease agreement is issued for private offices.

Residence Visa Process for SRTIP Free Zone

A simple, step-by-step guide to securing your residence visa through SRTIP Free Zone company.

Step 1: Application for Establishment Card and E-Channel Registration

Apply for the Establishment Card: A necessary document for visa applications.
Register for E-Channel Services: Mandatory for all Emirates except Dubai.

Step 2: E-Visa Application

Submit the e-visa application along with the required documents:

  • Passport copy
  • Business license
  • Current visa/cancellation paper (if inside the UAE)
  • Company Establishment Card
  • Passport-size photo (with a white background)

Step 3: E-Visa Issuance and Entry to the UAE

Once the e-visa is issued:

  • If outside the UAE, you can enter using the e-visa.
  • If inside the UAE, the free zone processes a Change of Status along with the e-visa.

Step 4: Medical Test

For the medical fitness test, the following documents are required:

  • Original passport
  • Copy of Change of Status confirmation (if applicable)
  • Copy of the e-visa
  • Passport-size photographs

Step 5: Emirates ID Biometrics Registration

For biometric registration, you need to provide:

  • Original passport
  • Copy of Change of Status confirmation (if applicable)
  • Copy of the e-visa
  • Passport-size photographs
  • Medical test result
  • Emirates ID application
  • Insurance policy (mandatory in Emirates other than Dubai)

Step 6: Issuance of Residence Visa and Emirates ID

Residence visas are now issued digitally, replacing the previous passport stamping process. The Emirates ID serves as proof of residency. Required documents include:

  • Emirates ID application
  • Stamped medical test result

Step 7: Emirates ID Issuance

Once all formalities are completed, the Emirates ID is issued, officially confirming your UAE residency.

Documents Required for SRTIP Free Zone Company Formation

To set up a company at SRTIP, the following documents are required. The specific requirements may vary depending on the business activity and free zone regulations.

For Individual Shareholders:

  • Passport copy of shareholder(s) and manager(s)
  • UAE entry stamp, visit visa copy, or residence visa copy
  • Emirates ID (for UAE residents)
  • Proof of address for shareholder(s) and manager(s)
  • Passport-sized photograph of shareholder(s) and manager(s)
  • KYC documents and sanctions form
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)

For Corporate Shareholders:

  • Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Articles of Association (AOA)
  • Trade license (for an existing company)
  • Certificate of Incorporation
  • Board resolution
  • Certificate of Incumbency/Good Standing
  • Documents for each individual shareholder as mentioned above

Upon submission of the required documents, the free zone will issue:

  • Business License
  • Memorandum of Association (MOA)
  • Shared-desk Agreement (if applicable)
  • Share Certificate
  • Certificate of Incorporation
