UAE Free Zones – An Overview
UAE free zones are specialized areas regulated by independent authorities, established to attract foreign investment and support specific industries. They allow businesses to operate under a distinct legal framework separate from mainland laws. Each free zone is designed to support specific industries such as media, technology, healthcare, or logistics, making it easier for businesses in those sectors. Companies in these zones can conduct international trade. Free zones simplify setup and provide infrastructure, but they’re best suited for businesses targeting global markets. Choosing the right free zone depends on business activity, location, and growth goals.
